Finally, for the first time this week I had a break from dental work. It can be really stressful at times to keep staring at people’s mouth. My fellow dentist in Costa Mesa and best pal, Sarah, calls me a slave of the dentist’s chair. There’s never a time when I don’t ask her to call me back every time she calls at the clinic.
So anyway, since I had a free time, I started skimming through my copy of Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. His website explains that the book is a:
&nb sp; “. . .masterstroke of storytelling--a deadly race through a real-world labyrinth of codes, secrets, and unseen truths... all under the watchful eye of Brown's most terrifying villain to date. Set within the hidden chambers, tunnels, and temples of Washington, D.C., The Lost Symbol accelerates through a startling landscape toward an unthinkable finale.”

I’m a huge fan of him. I have read his other four novels. I’m so gripped by his books, sometimes I forget to separate reality from fiction. But as long as I’m able to return back to reality at the end of my reading, I’m okay.
Oh well, the phone is ringing. It must be Sarah, again.
